Ideal for a wide range of applications, SMAW is perfect for both beginners and experienced welders seeking to enhance their skills and expand their capabilities. SMAW can be used for various metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Perfect for welding thicker metals. Since shielded arc welding is fairly easy to learn and welding equipment is cheap, it is still one of the most popular methods in fabrication and construction.


While some industries are shifting to more automated welding methods, many still prefer to use stick welding. Join the ranks of skilled welders who rely on SMAW for their metalworking needs.

FCAW

Flux Core Welding

GMAW, also know as Mig welding can be used for various metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, and other alloys. It is ideal for welding thin to moderate think metals and the services are a very common way for joining two metals.


Its strength comes with the variety of metals suitable for MIG/MAG as well as the high max thickness capabilities while maintaining high quality.

GTAW PIPE/TIG

Gas Tungsten Arc Welding

8 Week Program

Ideal for various metals and application, GTAW is perfect for both beginners and experienced welders looking to refine their skills and tackle challenging projects. GTAW is renowned for its ability to create smooth, clean welds with minimal spatter making it ideal for applications requiring a high degree of precision. This process allows for very high quality but also puts more requirements on the metal and the cleanliness of the weld and working area. It is most suitable for stainless steel and aluminum welding.

What to Wear

Required materials include but are not limited to:

  • Work clothes (no polyester, nylon)
  • Leather shoes (boots are preferable)
  • Cotton shirt (dress for the weather)
  • Long pants made of heavy materials such as jeans or duck cloth


If you wear glasses: Safety glasses are mandatory and are provided. If you wear corrective reading glasses, please bring them to class.


If you do not come to class with the required clothing, you will not be allowed to take the class and no refund will be granted.
